The following information explains how each knob can be customized:
 
Hole Diameter
Diameter of the hole on the bottom in mm.

Hole Depth
Depth of the hole in the bottom in mm.

Hole Flat Thickness
Determines thickness of the flat side of D-shaped hole in mm.

Knob Height
Height of the knob in mm. (Does not include shaft length nor dome cap if selected)

Knob Diameter
Diameter of the base of the round part of the knob in mm. (Knurled ridges are not included in this measurement)

Cap Type
Shape of the top of the knob. Options are flat, recessed, and dome.

Timer Knob
Adds a large timer-knob style pointer to the knob.

Pointer 1
Adds a divot on the top to indicate direction.

Pointer 2
Adds a line (pointer) on the front to indicate direction.

Knurled
Adds finger ridges around the knob.

Taper Percentage
Any value above zero will taper the knob. A value of zero results in a cylindrical knob.

Ring Width
Width of "dial" ring in mm. A value of zero removes the ring.

Ring Markings
Adds a number of markings on the dial. A value of zero removes the markings.

Screw Hole Diameter
Diameter of the setscrew hole in mm. A value of zero removes the setscrew hole.

Shaft Length
Length of the shaft on the bottom of the knob in mm. A value of zero removes the shaft.

Shaft Diameter
Diamter of the shaft on the bottom of the knob in mm. The diameter must be greater than zero if the shaft length is greater than zero.

Notched Shaft
Adds a notch to the shaft so that the knob is a press-on type of knob. Shaft length must be greater than zero.
